SonSk8 is a spacious, well-laid-out park with zones for beginners and advanced riders. When we took it over two years ago, the first job was fixing the basics: grinding back the slippery painted floor and relocating the foam pit so the whole park flowed properly.

Because the building is long and narrow, we redesigned the space so multiple riders can use it safely at the same time. We then secured funding to completely refurbish the halfpipe — a huge job, thanks to the previous team gluing every sheet of ply down. We shortened the flat bottom, rebuilt it with double 9mm ply, and finished it with Skatelite and Gator Skins.

All obstacles are built modular, so we can move things for events, coaching, or sport-specific comps. We’ve also added custom kickers, rails, and beginner ride-on features to help new riders learn the basics safely.
